Privacy Policy

Effective: April 1, 2013

The LAM Health Project (the “LHP”) regards the privacy and security of personal information as a matter of great importance. For this reason, the LHP only collects the information most necessary to keep our community informed as to the LHP’s activities (name, address, email, phone number). We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive information from us, please let us know by phone, email or in writing. Please be sure to include your full name, e-mail and/or street address.

If you wish to stop receiving information from the LHP, simply inform us via phone, email, or postal mail and we will remove you from our mailing list. If you inform us of your opinions and individual preferences, we will also collect those but will not redistribute them to third parties without your permission unless you choose to post these on our site. The LHP will never sell, rent, license, or exchange your contact information with a third party without your permission. Please let us know if you do not want your name to appear on an online list of supporters.

If you elect to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we will ask for the friend’s name and e-mail address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting him/her to visit the site. We will store the information on your friend(s) for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail, unless the friend accepts to hear from us.

The LHP’s website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. These websites may collect your personal information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties and the LHP does not assume any responsibility for, and by using this website and/or accessing a third party’s website from this website, you release the LHP of any responsibility for, the actions, practices and omissions of third parties. Please check the privacy policy at each site you visit.
